Goal: To provide children, ages 3 to 6, with a version of the Gospel that they can understand and enjoy.
Activities: Once a month the children are brought out of church at a Sunday Mass during the Liturgy of the Word. Through song, prayer, stories, and crafts, the children are presented the readings on their own level. They are brought back into Mass for the Offertory.
SACRED HEART IS IN NEED OF 8-10 ADULT VOLUNTEERS THAT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH CHILDREN'S CHURCH. THERE IS NO PREP TIME NEEDED AND EVERYTHING TAKES PLACE DURING THE MASSES. PLEASE PRAYERFULLY CONSIDER THIS MINISTRY.
